This particular shape was inspired by an 18th century satirical drawing of a bum roll cork shop.

The silhouette of the padding is emphasized on the side hip, while lighter and more narrow on the back side.
It will go perfectly with your robe à l’anglaise and polonaise, accentuating the desired shape yet allowing easy movement.
