Byzantine Amethyst Gemstone Chain Necklace with Pearls

Byzantine style pendant necklace with wire wrapped chain, faceted amethyst nuggets, mystic blue quartz cubes, freshwater pearls, glass beads, and brass.

Bead embroidered pendant features a high domed, dark purple vintage German glass cabochon surrounded by Japanese seed beads, Austrian crystals, and freshwater mauve pearls. 24k gold plated seed beads. The pendant is lined with black leather.


The brass chain is composed of faceted purple amethyst nuggets, mauve freshwater pearls, yellow lampworked barrel shaped glass beads, and mystic blue, finely faceted quartz cubes. The quartz is heat treated to achieve slate blue color.

Late Roman period style hammered hook and eye clasp.
