Sacred jewelry, late medieval style knotted necklace with bead embroidered Virgin Mary medallion and a handmade embroidery floss tassel.
The inspiration behind this necklace is a combination of the soul’s yearning for purity and presence of holiness, as well as antique sacramental church art.

31” long. Pendant with tassel 6” long.

Materials: Pomegranate red glass beads, cranberry dyed jade, dark gold freshwater pearls, black silk cord, glass cabochon, aged bronze and copper color seed beads, rayon and metallic floss. Black leather lining on the medallion.

The focal cabochon depicts Virgin Mary from an altar piece by Dutch painter Jan van Eyck. It is set in a seed bead embroidered bezel with freshwater pearl and red glass halo.
A handmade, two tone dark copper colored bejeweled tassel is suspended from the pendant to lend it softness and dimension.

The entire necklace is handcrafted using beads, thread, and lots of love.
